Pathing is very good, probably the most impressive needle maze sort of thing I've seen in a long time. As the game went on though the saves got progressively more gross and uncomfortable to play, the saves kept getting further and further apart, and it continued to wear me down and dampen my mood.
There's quite a lot of midair vine shenanigans that I found royally unfun and awkward, most of the gimmick execution was ultimately just overly precise and annoying.
I also found a pretty major skip pretty late in the game, I didn't do it since I didn't know where to go afterwards, but yeah that's a pretty bad thing to have in a large needle maze.
Overall the game could've been great if it had far fewer low jumps and precise sections.

Ever since I played I wanna qowulu 100 by sunlaoqq i really wanted to see a game that took that idea but made the needle more challenging and interesting. This game really scratched that itch for me, there's just something really satisfying about this kind of interconnected design that makes me not want to stop playing. I found the needle to be quite fun most of the time, there were some annoying jumps here and there but nothing I found too offensive.
Compared to qowulu 100, it has some light gimmicks that take advantage of you having or lacking your double jump, which make the needle more varied and enable a lot of the different routes you can take through the same screens. It comes with an in-game map which allows you to look at different floors and avoid deaths to screen transitions, or plan your route to the next save if you are not sure where to go. It also has more variety with the tilesets and music, making each set of 10 floors feel like its own stage, which I felt added a lot to the feel of revisiting older screens.

Game that sacrifices needle quality for cool loopy pathing. I found very little of this enjoyable unfortunately.
