(Review for needle only. Will update if I ever beat the avoidance)
The needle starts out pretty unfun and annoying imo but gets a lot better once you get further in. It's very obviously inspired by Sunspike, but that's not a bad thing. It utilizes lots of generic jumps in interesting and fun ways. There were a few jumps here and there I really disliked, like one specific corner, a hald diamond at one point, and a Rukito jump that all annoyed me. Overall, however, the needle is very fun and worth playing even if you don't care about the avoidance.
