I first played this shortly after release. It's still pretty good, though not quite great. Still, it was a good trip down memory lane, despite the platforming being trivial for me nowadays.
The platforming after the boss without a save is a little too mean for me to recommend this game to beginners.

Decent needle. It never gets boring and clever to use dot-kid for difficult generic jumps, giving beginners a glimpse of them with more leniency.
The boss fight is a fun break from precise needling.
The graphics and BGM are decent. It uses the actual hitbox as the character, letting beginners control the character better.

Fantastic short needle game. The visuals and music are on point, creating a relaxing jazz environment. Every screen of needle feels distinct, and there are a lot of interesting room structures. The dotkid usage is great, and it uses switching back and forth in some really clever ways. None of the jumps are too difficult, and the balance is perfect. The miniboss and boss are cute and funny, although much easier than the rest, but still enjoyable. Overall, this is an absolute must play needle game, and highly recommended for beginners.
