Enjoy the game is a story about the kid who has had enough of fruit and tries to kill all 4 delicious fruit gods. But after killing three, the fourth god took notice and prepared itself in advance, laying traps and whatnot in order to prevent the kid from slaughtering it, to no avail - without the presence of the four delicious fruit gods, the universe crumbles, and resets all over again, locking them in eternal combat.
Or at least that's what I interpreted from it. I didn't set my locale to Japanese so I didn't get to read the two total text boxes.
This game only really gets good once you get to the second part of the game - before that, it's just pretty boring/easy needle. After that though, there's some alright trap gameplay. There's some pretty specific reads here which I do appreciate, and it did get me to giggle or audibly praise the cleverness of certain traps. The problem is, it's a bunch of screens where the only traps are either: a spike/cherry moves, or a block appears/disappears. That's the most basic traps you can think of. Granted, it does the most out of those two things, but that being said, that's not a whole lot, and after the third or fourth screen, it gets a bit repetitive. I kind of wished they could've left some of the traps on the cutting room floor if it meant getting a better ratio of some of those more clever ones.
Oh, and the bosses are just kinda basic. Nothing to really write home about, if at all (other than why the arena is so low on the screen)
Overall, I still think it's worth playing if you make fangames, but otherwise, eh.

There's a good amount of charm to this game, although the early bits are rather unremarkable gameplay wise. The trap section is quite lengthy but it's definitely the most interesting part of the game. The bosses are unremarkable but the final one is alright. The sequel is a major glow up but this game is cool too, if a little basic.
