Starts off very strong but it sadly becomes worse and worse the further you get. The first half was fun even if its rather trap heavy, but the game completely drops the ball once you get to the needle stage with flashing visuals. All creativity is gone in favor of awkward needle featuring bad collision spikes and jumps that are more precise than they need to due to the kid's hitbox being different from the bigger screen. Corners and planes are especially annoying due to this.
I want to shed light on the final boss which is a luckfest which lasts for almost two minutes and on every attempt you have to wait out a ~18 second intro which you can't skip. The attacks themselves might not be hard in isolation, except the boss does another attack as you are dodging the previous one. If you get the attack where he spawns a big black fruit that spawns smaller curving fruit and he runs towards you right after you pretty much got walled, or atleast I wasn't able to get out of it. It isn't even that rare for this to happen, it happens like 1/4th of the time before you get to the second half. The sad thing is that this boss could have been great if it was touched up a little, but how I see it now it wasn't worth the journey to get there.
I can hardly recommend beating the entire game but I'd still give it a go and play up to the second boss. I'd say this is where the game starts decreasing in quality.

This game can only be described as a "wasted potential". There are many moments that you think "wow, I really like this, this is neat", but there are 10 times more moments "Game, WHY are you like this".
This is a collection of "neat" ideas disguised as a game. There is no sense of progression of any sorts, no great feats to achieve, only generic jumps and generic traps placed everywhere, so you are only left with hopes that the game soon ends. There is even a moment when you hear some non-restarting music and get some legit hard jumps, thinking "wow, this must be the final stage, it will finally be over", but then you get one more stage, which has a "neat" idea of reverse spotlight, how convenient.
The game has some charming and cozy vibes to it, the ideas are in fact cool, shame that they drown in generic traps and uninventive gameplay.
