Rating based only on the main game, Extra is not recommended.
Piyopiyo Trap is the origin of one of the most famous concepts often used in Medley games: The Dice. And of course if you've played Kamilia 3, you know the screens picked in it probably paint the picture of this being a boring needle game. Throw those preconceptions out the window, as this game is way more interesting than the medleys make it out to be, in fact, I legitimately think K3 used the most boring screens out of the entire game whilst basically everything else is actually unique and cool.
Outside of the two screens you know, the ones you don't are pretty awesome. There's one stage that has solid color blocks that make a visually cute stage with some fun segments, as well as a block toggle gimmick that flips different colors on or off. There's one stage based on luck, however, it's not actually that hard with the most crazy being a 1 in 4 chance, plus an actually unique boss that shows off the very first edition of The Dice. Other stages include a casino card themed tileset, and there's even a Windows 7 stage that is awesome, here's a screen from it that might convince you to play this: https://i.imgur.com/Y9nnQMk.png Do be aware that there is a bit of a language barrier at some points, but I think most of it you can pick up pretty quickly anyways without ever needing a video or translation.
This game also contains extra, but as the start of this review mentions, I really don't recommend it. Some of it involves falling down a chute and shooting small targets, with you having to reset if you miss even one of them. There's a long trap segment as well that's more than one screen per save so be warned of that too. And of course, the legendary K3 Luck Crystal is in this too, with a required luck draw harder than 1 in 1000 in order to beat the stage. If you do extra, just be sure to check all the warps before committing, as it's pretty guaranteed to have at least one stage you will hate.
Overall though, the main game is one of the most interesting classic fangames, and probably one of the better things featured in K3, even if it sadly represented it pretty horribly.

First off I will say immediately, that this isn't so much of a fangame, but more of a game in its own standing. It has different physics, set jump heights, and is not made in a Fangame engine; it's just separate in general from anything else on Delfruit. There are direct references to IWBTG Fangames of course, and the gameplay is rather similar in style, so everyone should definitely give it a try anyway. Regardless, it's really fucking good, this is truly a gem amongst video games.
Chock loaded with dozens of references to memes, video games, and several other mediums, this is basically a love letter tribute just as much as Kayin's IWBTG is. It's clear that the maker was inspired by various things, ranging from trap heavy works to even experimental fangames like I Wanna Burnmind. And as inspired as it might be, this game is one of the most unique things I have ever played, and it's good enough to the point that I would have paid money to buy it on steam if needed.
The stages are pretty good, with each having their own particular theme throughout them, but the next to last one is a miraculous work that will remind most fangamers of I Want or Burnmind, it does also credit them as inspirations at the end so you know they had the good mind juice making this one. The bosses are also pretty amazing, ranging from regular-style boss fights to some with a special gimmick that plays pretty fun. The last boss is also really good and is essentially a long sequence (with checkpoints) that really makes you feel like you accomplished a grand final showdown at the end of it.
Overall, it might not be that much of a fangame, but it's still just a good game in general. It's also easy enough for anyone, including beginners, to pick up and play any day of the week. I'm so glad this was shared with the community as it really deserves to be put in a spotlight for how fun it was.
Amazing game, highly recommended!

A pretty solid game that I think accomplished what it sets out to do, it very much feels like Tethys-Like Needle and all the aspects that come with it, and in my eyes is actually better.
One thing that I think sticks out to me from both games is the randomness of everything going on, blocks and spikes just go places, and then you make a path for the player later on. There's an entire sense of madness that I think holds a specific atmosphere to it. This game does have some uncomfortable jumps, but I think it's done in a way that mimics some of the inspiration, I very much think most Tethys-Likes have similar jumps as well. There are always weird sixteen pixels, drops, leaps across the room, some creepy F-jump where you're right under the block, this game feels to be adhering to the source extremely well by including all of these.
I also feel the need to mention that this has the best sprite work of any fangame like it, both stages have animated tiles and spikes, and neither ever get distracting or obnoxious. They also appropriately help set the mood of the game with their mystifying feel, and alongside the backgrounds, they feel like a perfect match. I do wish though that during the second stage the background was a bit brighter so I could see what it was, but that's not too big a deal. I will mention though that the exclusion of a spotlight would probably be best for any future works similar to this, as I think the visuals and music are all that a game like this needs to create mood, trust in them and you'll realize the atmosphere is already good enough to not need a simple gimmick like that. Finally, the music also sounds good for what it is, it felt strange and made me uncomfortable, and did so without sounding like a 100 Halloween Songs soundtrack.
Overall, I think this has platforming that's better than Tethys, and some of the best visuals possible, so I definitely recommend it. If the spotlight was yeeted, I think it would be pretty damn good.

Really great platforming with really bad bosses, when half my playtime is spent on 2 bosses in a puzzle game it really makes me question what the design choices were for this. Because of how bad they are, I only enjoyed half the game, and that's the reasoning for my low rating.
The platforming however is still really good, and most of the paths are pretty intuitive usually, but at this point there are plenty of better alternatives with segments like this that lack the atrocious bosses this has, such as Reach the Moon or Look Inside, so I absolutely would not recommend this at all. It's a shame because there does seem to be a lot of intelligent making involved for all the paths, but they absolutely just gave up and didn't even try to make either boss as fun as the stages themselves. Maybe it was good for it's time, but when this gimmick is fairly common these days it loses the wow factor and makes the bosses stand out more for what they are: terrible. Rather it be an instagib attack in the first boss or its dumb gravity flip, or the bounce spam in the second boss into its last phase, I just disliked every single aspect of both.
Absolutely would not recommend at all, bosses are quite literally Sudoku-tier bad.

Really good adventure game that stands out from most others with some unique gimmicks that get designed around pretty well. I had a banger of a time with this one, especially with how bosses involve their stage's gimmick as well. I did take fault with one stage that had B/W spikes you can toggle an aura to walk through safely, because it has two rooms with a cherry that shoots and spins in the middle, both of which felt a bit more obnoxious than they could have been.
A big highlight comes from the final stage, which involves enemies you can pick up to shoot or jump with, these screens are really fun and all feel unique in their own way. There are even some puzzle-y segments in this part that aren't exactly hard but still interesting to figure out. The final avoidance is pretty short and simple, but it wraps up the game nicely by being pretty much a credit sequence in itself.
Overall, it's a pretty sweet game, so I'd definitely recommend it for people looking for an easier adventure on the unique side.
