Also the star levels were amazing. The final level dragged on for WAY too long though. The difficulty on this review comes mostly from the final boss, which was so much harder than anything else in the game.

Incredible needle game with insanely satisfying gameplay from start to finish. The CN3 stage was definitely the highlight of the game, and the dotkid gimmick felt godlike to play. Highly recommended.

Needle heavy adventure game that was a pretty mixed bag. There were some really fun stages, but also some less fun ones.
I really enjoyed the water stages, and the quarantine system stage. I wasn't the biggest fan of the factory stage and the final bosses, and for some reason there were like 5 final bosses.

Really fun barrage. It's very first half heavy, and some of the attacks in Smartkin's part were kinda unfair, but Sudnep's part was really cool.

Minimetroidvania 4 is, as its name suggests, a small metroidvania fangame. As other reviews have pointed out, despite the map size being small, there is a lot of content here. There are quite a lot of abilities which are all unique instead of your typical triple jump. For each ability there is a trial testing your skills on a unique gimmick. These trials are gameplay wise some of the most memorable parts of the game. I especially loved the cursor water trial, the rocket trial, and the split trial.
My biggest issue with the game is the infamous clock puzzle. You can read Canus’ review to see why it has a big problem. Unfortunately I was quite frustrated with it so everything after it felt less enjoyable than everything before it. Thankfully there wasn’t much left after it. I also didn’t really enjoy the bosses that much. Most of them were okay, but some of them were annoying.
Overall this game is really fun if you can get past some issues, and even though the map is small, every room was made for a good reason, and there’s no fillers in this game.
